Flo Door Handle

Flo is inspired by a handheld massage tool. The tripod shape creates a unique aesthetic and grip. The challenge was to incorporate the uniqueness of the form with a lever handle to increase its functionality. The spherical form of the massage tool leads itself to flow or drip down the main body of the handle, creating varying sizes of massage balls. These massage balls are finished with a rubber surface to create more comfortable gripping ergonomics for different hand sizes. The form and added friction from the rubber also help users who may have a weaker grip due to old age or accident.
